SeaReply (“we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when providing the browser extension and related services.

2. Information we collect

  • Account informationEmail (for login codes), UI language preference, subscription status.
  • Usage dataTranslation/rewrite request counts (for quotas), monitors and interaction records (only for public content you add).
  • Device informationSession device identifiers and IP (for security and session management).
  • BYO KeyIf you bring your own API key, it is stored only locally in the browser and never uploaded to our servers.

3. How we use information

  • Provide translation, rewriting, monitoring, and notifications
  • Manage accounts, quotas, and subscription billing
  • Send verification codes, interaction digests, and necessary emails
  • Improve the product and troubleshoot issues

4. Third-party services

We may use:

  • LLM providers(e.g. DeepSeek, OpenAI): In hosted mode, text to translate/rewrite is sent to the selected AI provider.
  • StripeProcesses subscription payments; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Email services(e.g. Resend): Sends verification codes and notification emails.

5. Storage and security

Account and monitor data are stored in our hosted database. We use industry-standard security measures. JWT session tokens authenticate users; only one active session per account.

6. Your rights

You can:

  • Delete monitors in extension settings
  • Clear local browser cache and BYO keys
  • Contact us to request account and data deletion
